You can bring your own steamy romance to the ‘Heated Rivalry’ cottage and rent it on Airbnb

The cozy cottage featured in the smash TV hit "Heated Rivalry" is now available on AirBnb. Everyone — including Airbnb it turns out — is getting in on the action caused by HBO’s breakout hit series “Heated Rivalry.”

We’ve already told you how the hockey drama has been a boon for the NHL, and now the popular vacation rental platform is letting fans, quite literally, step into the world of the popular erotic hockey drama.

Airbnb is listing the cottage which was featured in the show’s season finale, its latest Hollywood tie-in stunt. (Unlike its previous stunts like recreating the house from the Pixar film “Up” or the X-Men-inspired mansion listing, the cottage is an actual property.)

In the show, the cottage is owned by the character played by Hudson Williams, Shane Hollander, and serves as a key location in the season’s cliffhanger ending. The fictional lakeside cottage is outside Montreal, but in reality the “Barlochan Cottage,” as it’s known, is in Muskoka, Ontario, two hours from Toronto.

Starting on March 3, you can book the three-bedroom, three-bath home which was designed by a local architect named Trevor McIvor. It’ll cost you $248.10 CAD (Canadian Dollars) per night, which is a sly nod to Hollander and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie)’s jersey numbers (24 and 81, respectively). A rep for Airbnb told Page Six Hollywood that the company worked with the property’s owners, who have opted to remain anonymous. (You can view the listing here.)

As a sport, hockey has elbowed its way back into the zeitgeist. Storrie is set to host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend while members of the U.S. men’s hockey team attended the State of the Union in DC after their victory at the Olympics. The U.S. men and women’s hockey teams took home gold after both bested our neighbors to the north.
