The New York Yankees will head to Queens to face their crosstown rivals, the New York Mets, in a three-game weekend series, which also marks the 30th season of the Subway Series.
Last year, the teams split the Subway Series by winning three games each. This year, the Mets are entering the weekend on a hot streak winning seven of their last 10 including a three-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers. The Yankees have only won four of their last 10, with just one win in their last six games.
After this weekend’s series, the Subway Series will move to the Bronx in September for three more games.

The first game of the 2026 Subway Series is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. ET tonight, May 15.

Cam Schlittler (5-1, 1.35 ERA) will start for the Yankees tonight, while former Yankee Clay Holmes (4-3, 1.86 ERA) will be on the mound for the Mets.
