Silver-haired couple allegedly beat up mom — because they didn’t like how she disciplined her kid in public

A married couple landed behind bars in Florida Wednesday for allegedly stopping a mom from disciplining her misbehaving child — who’d just spit in her face.

The mom told cops that the fracas in a Davie parking lot started when she got into a heated argument with her 4-year-old son, who spat at her after she reprimanded him for acting up, as reported by Local 10 WPLG.

The mom smacked her kid in the mouth and the torso in an attempt to keep the brat in line.

Terry Williams, 66, and his gray-haired wife Mary, 63, witnessed the tussle between the two and raced over to intervene.

Terry began to criticize the mother for how she disciplined her kid, claiming that he worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families and that she couldn’t yell or hit her kid.

His wife Mary soon joined in the shame session — refusing to leave as the mom tried to get into her car with her son.

Mary scratched and choked the mom to the point where she nearly passed out, ripping her shirt in the process, according to the mom’s statement to the cops.

Her husband Terry quickly joined in, pulling the woman’s hair and her shirt, according to the mom’s statement.

When the pummelling was over, the woman was left standing in her bra, with scratches on her throat and a cut on her lower lip, according to cops.

A woman who witnessed the incident claimed the couple was outright attacking the mom.

“They were on both sides and they were just grabbing her and they were ripping the scrub shirt off of her,” the witness said.

The woman said that the couple looked like they were attempting to bring her to the ground.

“She was struggling and that’s why her scrub shirt was being torn off of her,” the witness said.

The bad Samaritans were arrested by cops, with husband Terry being charged with battery. He went home after posting his $2,500 bail.

Wife Mary was charged with battery and burglary, and her bail was set at $5,000.

She was still in jail when her husband appeared in court.

Terry Williams denied that anything happened when speaking to local reporters.

“Wow, really? That’s interesting,” Terry said when a reporter told him what the witness saw.
