Niall Horan gave a rather odd response when asked whether he would be attending his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles’ upcoming wedding to Zoë Kravitz.
“I’ve got a couple of weddings that I’m going to coming up. We all love a wedding,” he said during a recent appearance on New Zealand radio show “The Edge NZ” after co-hosts Ollie Miles and Lucy Maynard asked him if he had any “cool events” coming up.
“A couple of mates of mine are getting married, so that’s going to be very fun,” the singer continued when asked who was getting married.
But both Miles and Maynard continued to press whether the upcoming weddings were happening on a “particular month” and involved “old people [he] used to work with,” alluding to Styles.
“Alright. No, no, no. I get it now,” Horan said with a laugh, finally catching the hosts’ drift. “Just mates of mine.”
“You don’t know the date, though?” Maynard questioned one last time.
“I am not going, if that’s what you’re asking,” Horan finally admitted, referencing Styles’ wedding. “I’m a busy man.”

On April 23, Page Six exclusively revealed that Styles and Kravitz were engaged after eight months of dating.
“He is completely smitten,” an insider told us. “He would jump off a cliff for her,” adding that the actress “is on cloud nine.”
“No one in their circle is surprised,” the source noted.
The pair had first sparked engagement rumors days prior when Kravitz, 37, was photographed kissing Styles, 32, while wearing a sparkling ring possibly worth over $500,000.
Since then, Page Six has learned that the couple is planning two weddings.
“I know for a fact Zoë would want to do something in New York because of her dad, so if anything it’s going to be two weddings,” a source close to the Kravitz family told Page Six earlier this month, referring to her rock star father, Lenny Kravitz.
“Dad still lives in downtown [Manhattan]. It could be at the Fouquet’s Hotel. If she does two [weddings], it would be one in London and one in New York.
Styles and Horan — along with Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne — were part of One Direction from the band’s formation on “The X Factor UK” in 2010. Despite their great success, the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.
The musicians seemed to go their separate ways after the band dismantled, but reunited in 2024 after the tragic death of Payne in October of that year.
All five original members were reportedly planning a comeback before Payne’s passing.
