NYC woman busted for fatally stabbing beau with butterfly knife in brutal domestic violence: cops, DA

A Bronx woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death with a butterfly knife and damaging his camper van in a brutal burst of domestic violence nearly two months ago, cops and prosecutors said Wednesday.

Dulce Dayana Hernandez Jimenez, 28, was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter in the deadly March 28 knifing of Ramon Vasquez, 35, in Norwood, according to an indictment unsealed in Bronx Supreme Court.

Jimenez allegedly used a butterfly knife to stab Vasquez, and also busted the window of his camper van, according to the indictment.

Dulce Dayana Hernandez Jimenez, 28, was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter in the deadly March 28 knifing of her beau, Ramon Vasquez, 35, in Norwood, authorities said. Vasquez was found lying on the ground with a stab wound to the torso just before 10 p.m. on Webster Avenue near East 205th Street, police said.

The gravely wounded man, who lived more than two miles away in West Farms, was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died, police said.

Jimenez, who lived about a mile away in Belmont, was arrested early Tuesday, cops said.

She was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault and criminal mischief, prosecutors said.

The motive for the deadly domestic violence was not immediately known.

Jimenez was ordered held without bail during her arraignment and will return to court on July 29, records show.
