‘Street Outlaws’ star charged with stalking in New York

“Street Outlaws” star Daddy Dave has been charged with alleged stalking in New York after a GPS device was found on a vehicle.

According to TMZ, the reality personality — whose given name is David Comstock — was booked into the Steuben jail in upstate New York Wednesday morning for alleged misdemeanor criminal tampering and alleged misdemeanor stalking.

The outlet later reported that the reality star, 53, was caught on camera placing a GPS tracking device on a vehicle.

Village of Bath Police Chief Donald Lewis confirmed to the outlet that Comstock was taken into custody after the alleged victim contacted police on Tuesday evening and claimed the street racer had tampered with their vehicle.

Lewis explained to the outlet that officers spoke with the victim, who said he recognized the reality TV personality on his Ring security camera committing the alleged crime.

Comstock also reached out to the police department around the same time and spoke with investigators on the case — with the outlet reporting he “fully cooperated” — after which detectives checked the vehicle and located a GPS device.

The TV star was arrested early on Wednesday and later released at his arraignment. Per the outlet, the judge implemented a restraining order against Comstock ordering him to steer clear of the alleged victim.

Lewis did not specify a possible motive, per the outlet.

Page Six has reached out to Lewis and the Steuben County Jail, but did not immediately hear back.

Comstock did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Wednesday.

The Discovery Channel star joined the cast of “Street Outlaws” — a reality series documenting street racing in Oklahoma City — back in 2013, when the show launched.

He’s since become famous for being one of the long-running series’ most competitive racers.
