Patriots draft pick Quintayvious Hutchins arrested for domestic violence

Patriots rookie Quintayvious Hutchins was arraigned Wednesday morning in Newton District Court (Mass.) on charges of assault and battery on a family/household member, per court documents cited by masslive.com.

The 23-year-old Hutchins, who signed his rookie deal with New England over the weekend, reportedly pleaded not guilty to the alleged incident, which happened Tuesday in Newton.

He was released from police custody on personal recognizance, a pretrial release without paying bail, according to masslive.com.

“We take these matters very seriously and are in the process of gathering additional information. We will not have further comment at this time.”

Hutchins left Saturday’s rookie camp practice with an undisclosed injury.

The Patriots selected him out of Boston College in seventh round of the 2026 NFL draft.

The Patriots are already dealing with the fallout from head coach Mike Vrabel’s personal life after Page Six broke the story and published photos on April 7 showing Vrabel and former NFL reporter Russini holding hands while at a resort in Arizona in March.

Both are married to other people and the Patriots backed Vrabel, while Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic on April 14 amid an internal investigation.
