Dave Portnoy wants Alix Earle to stop “taking shots” at Alex Cooper if she isn’t going to go public with their beef.
The Barstool Sports creator blasted Earle in a “Tea By the Sea” TikTok video Tuesday — claiming that while he “like[s] both girls,” the 25-year-old has navigated her feud with Cooper, 31, “like f–king dog s–t.”
He pointed out that Earle has yet to air her issues with Cooper like the “Call Her Daddy” host urged her to in an April video.
“Maybe I’m old school … but if you’re gonna talk, and talk the talk and take shots, you better answer that bell when someone calls,” Portnoy told his followers.
“I’m not going to, like, take these veiled shots at somebody and then when the other person is like, ‘Alright, let’s go, let’s hear what it is,’ just disappear,” he said. “If you’re going to chirp, chirp, chirp, just answer the bell.”
He noted that Earle likely “has, like, 3,000 people advising her and rolls around with a team of, like, 40 PR people.”

Despite not knowing “what the f–k actually happened” between the influencers, Portnoy is now “Team Cooper” since Earle has said “zip” of actual substance online.
He captioned the upload, “Know all the girlies are #teamalix but I hate the way she’s handled this Alex Cooper controversy.”
Earle’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Portnoy’s scathing take came hours after Earle dodged questions about Cooper on the “Today” show — even as Craig Melvin pressed her.
“I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today,” Earle said. “We don’t have that much time here, honestly. And also, it’s like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?”
When Melvin, 46, attempted to find out whether the feud was “legitimate,” Earle said — in a seemingly sarcastic tone — “No, it’s exaggerated. I love everyone.”
Fans have speculated that the two internet personalities had been beefing since February 2025, when Cooper dropped Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast from her Unwell Network.
Cooper confirmed the speculation last month when she called out Earle by name in a TikTok video where she urged her to “stop hiding behind other people.”
She also Earle’s “passive-aggressive re-posts and likes” on social media.
“Alix Earle, hey girl. … I’ve got to call you out here. You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you.”
Earle responded to Cooper’s plea, writing, “Okay on it!!” in the comments section — but has yet to reveal her side of the story.
But Earle also posted a clip of the moment she found out about Cooper’s brutal video, giving fans hope that she and her team are planning a response.
