The pair first worked together in 1998, when Goldsmith-Thomas was JLo’s agent. The first film they did together was the 2002 Revolution Studios hit, “Maid in Manhattan.”

Coming up, Lopez has the literary adaptation, “The Last Mrs. Parrish,” directed by Robert Zemieckis. She just had a sold-out residency in Las Vegas, scoring her first No. 1 song on the Billboard charts, “Save Me Tonight.”

Last year, Goldsmith-Thomas published a best-selling debut novel, “Climbing in Heels,” and Lopez was supportive of the project by posting from a NYC reading, “Proud of my girl… I watched her write this book over the past few years, but I know it was truly a lifetime in the making. You are kind, generous, smart, and as fiercely loyal and loving as friends come. You are a beast, Elaine — when you set your mind to something, nothing and no one stands in your way,” she wrote.

The book was quickly optioned by “Sex and the City” and “Emily in Paris” creator Darren Star via Universal Television. Goldsmith-Thomas will write alongside Starr. Reps for the pair did not comment.
