How Hilary Duff’s makeup artist got her skin looking its ‘most radiant’ for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot

Hilary Duff’s latest photo shoot is what dreams are made of.

The 38-year-old singer recently added “swimwear model” to her jam-packed resume, posing in a plunging white one-piece for one of four new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covers.

And while the stripped-down shoot saw Duff stepping outside her comfort zone she had her longtime makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, on set to help her prep.

“I wanted the makeup to feel like an extension of her skin at its most radiant,” Deenihan, who reached for Charlotte Tilbury products including the brand’s Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil, said in a press release.

Photographed by Kat Irlin in South Caicos, Duff posed in a white Oye swimsuit. Kat Irlin/Sports Illustrated “It was about creating that seamless kind of beauty where everything melts together and you notice her before the makeup,” she added.

Tilbury’s collagen-infused face oil is designed to help with just that, thanks to a blend of plumping, smoothing and nourishing ingredients.

The star got glowing for her Sports Illustrated debut using Charlotte Tilbury products. Charlotte Tilbury Amazon reviewers attest to its effectiveness, too, with one calling it a “life saver” while a second said “makes an instant difference in your skin.”

Deenihan also perfected a smooth base for Duff’s beachy beauty look using Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream — an upgraded, editor-approved moisturizer the brand calls a “facelift in a jar” — and the dark circle-fighting Magic Eye Cream.

“The inspiration was glowing, sunlit skin with a soft sculpt and a fresh, hydrated finish that feels effortless both on camera and in person,” the beauty pro added. (And given she’s worked with everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Ali Larter to Jennifer Garner, it’s safe to say she’s an expert on ageless glow.)

Deenihan added a sun-kissed glow with Tilbury’s Beauty Light Wands. Charlotte Tilbury Literal highlights of the “Mature” singer’s look also included the viral Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight, plus complexion heroes like the brand’s Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer.

She also spritzed on Tilbury’s cult-favorite Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray to keep the look locked in between takes, as seen in a behind-the-scenes video exclusively obtained by Page Six Style.
