She’s ready — to be a Sports Illustrated model.
On Tuesday, Tiffany Haddish was named one of four cover stars – including Hilary Duff, Alix Earle and Nicole Williams English — for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2026, posing in a layered orange and gold Same bikini.
“The first thing I thought was, ‘I have to make sure my cuckoo doesn’t come out,’” joked Haddish, 46.
“Those bathing suits were itty bitty and I just was thinking, ‘My booty is going to eat this up.’ I wanted to keep it classy,” she added.
Smiling towards the camera, Haddish’s loose waves blow easily in the breeze as she kneels in the shallow water in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico, photographed by James Macari.
In another image, hands on her hips, Haddish wears a bright purple one-piece from Dolce & Gabbana ($1,125), crossed at the neck.
Haddish — who made her debut in the glossy with her cover shoot — shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram Tuesday morning, which saw her in an array of looks that included a black sequined Saint Laurent bodysuit, green thong bikini, hot pink two-piece from Shani Shemer ($354) and more.
“She really manifested this,” wrote one commenter, while another fan echoed, “👏👏👏 yes Queen.”
“The things that made me happy last year don’t necessarily make me happy this year,” Haddish told SI, “If you want to keep growing you have to constantly be asking, ‘What makes me happy now?’ I want to keep growing, keep evolving, so I’ll keep doing that work.”
Speaking with People Magazine ahead of the issue’s release, she revealed, “It really got me in tune with listening to my body and being able to push it like I used to … It made me so proud of me, because my body popped into alignment and did everything it was instructed to do.”
