K-pop girl group Babymonster also confirms concert stop at AsiaWorld-Arena early next year
2-MIN READ2-MIN ListenWynna WongPublished: 2:59pm, 11 May 2026Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd will perform two concerts at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium in October as part of the final leg of his “After Hours Til Dawn” world tour, confirming an earlier report by the South China Morning Post.The details coincide with K-pop act Babymonster’s announcement on Monday that the girl group would perform in the city on January 9 next year at AsiaWorld-Arena, forming the final leg of their world tour in Asia and Oceania.
The Weeknd revealed on Monday that the Hong Kong shows would take place on October 30 and 31 at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium.
The Hong Kong concerts are part of a wider Asia leg that will also see The Weeknd perform in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur between September and November.
Ticket sales for the Hong Kong shows will begin with an artist presale on May 18, followed by multiple rounds of presales for ZA Visa cardholders, Trip.com users and Live Nation members before general sales open on May 21. Tickets will be sold through HK Ticketing and Trip.com.
Earlier this week, Live Nation posted a cryptic teaser video across several regional social media accounts, including those for Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, with the caption: “A Foreshadowing Of The Final Leg.”
