You remember, right? Or maybe you tried to forget, so here’s a reminder: the fourth pick in 2015 (Kristaps Porzingis); the No. 8 pick in 2017 (Frank Ntilikina); the ninth pick in 2018 (Kevin Knox); the third pick in 2019 (RJ Barrett); the eighth pick in 2020 (Obi Toppin).

A bunch of players who are no longer on the Knicks.

But these days, the franchise and its faithful don’t have to think about ping-pong balls unless they’re reciprocating Timothée Chalamet’s fandom by watching “Marty Supreme.” The Knicks have bigger tasks to accomplish — like embarrassing the 76ers and fulfilling very legitimate title aspirations.
