Knicks advance to second straight Eastern Conference finals by destroying 76ers to finish sweep

For the second consecutive year, the Knicks’ season will reach the Eastern Conference finals.

And for the second consecutive series, they closed it out with a blowout.

This time, the Knicks defeated the 76ers, 144-114, behind a historic 3-point effort and Miles McBride’s best game of the postseason while starting in place of OG Anunoby.

The Knicks’ 25 made 3-pointers were the most in a playoff game in team history.

McBride was 7-for-9 from deep and had a game-high 25 points.

Outside of a nail-biting Game 2 victory, none of these games against the 76ers were particularly close, either, and Knicks fans took over Philadelphia’s home arena along the way, too.

Now, they’ll await the winner of the Pistons and Cavaliers for a chance at cracking the NBA Finals, though they’ll need to wait a bit — with the Pistons leading that series 2-1.
