Back in 2024, the show was announced as “the next installment from the Yellowstone universe” (and was previously titled 2024 and then Madison, before settling on The Madison), but that’s no longer the case. Paramount revealed that the series is an original new drama that’s not connected to the Dutton family.
Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, The Madison follows the Clyburn family as they relocate from New York City to the wild, untamed beauty of Montana’s Madison River Valley. Described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection,” the series boasts a strong ensemble that includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, Matthew Fox, and Will Arnett. Christina Alexandra Voros directs all six Season 1 episodes.
