Don’t get too optimistic, right? It’s better to be preemptively disappointed than surprisingly disappointed.

So when OG Anunoby hobbled out of Wednesday night’s victory over the Sixers with what was pretty obviously a hamstring injury, the mind wandered to doom and gloom.

Uh oh, not him. Not again. Not New York’s two-way maestro who also has a long history of injuries and, only two years ago, suffered a hamstring strain that derailed a playoff run.
