The Colts and Kenny Moore II have officially severed ties.
On Thursday, Indianapolis cut the former Pro Bowl cornerback after two sides agreed to split and seek a trade in early April.
Moore has been with the Colts for nine years, but saw his playing time take a dive last season.

“[I] think very highly of Kenny, not only me personally, but organizationally, and I know the city feels the same way,” general manager Chris Ballard said last month. “At the end of the day, talking to him, he just felt like it was time for a change. Nothing much more than that. And because of our respect level for Kenny we said, ‘Okay.’ Not always easy, especially when you get a pillar that’s been a pillar, not only on our team, but in the community. I think most of you know my relationship with him, it’s close. And so those are not always easy conversations, but they were respectful and good.”
The Colts added more firepower in November last year, trading for former Jet Sauce Gardner in exchange for two first-round picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell. It likely contributed to pushing Moore into a back seat.
Across his career, the 30-year-old totaled 21 interceptions, four pick-sixes, 39 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, 20 quarterback hits and six forced fumbles across 132 games and 111 starts.
In 2021, he earned his first and only Pro Bowl nod after logging four interceptions and a forced fumble.

He had an impressive training camp last year but suffered a torn ACL during a joint practice with the Ravens, which ended his rookie year prematurely.
Indianapolis, which re-signed Daniel Jones to a two-year, $88 million contract, will be looking to improve upon a strong season that came to a disappointing end.
After Jones went down with an Achilles injury, the Colts lost their last seven games and missed the playoffs despite an 8-2 season start.
