Cross-dressing, masturbating ‘neighbor from hell’ terrorizing NYC apartment building: report

A cross-dressing “neighbor from hell” has been terrorizing a Bronx apartment building where he’s been living rent-free for a year — wildly waving around weapons, masturbating in the hallway and even threatening to blow the place up with gas, disturbing footage shows.

The terror tenant was filmed through a horrified neighbor’s peephole in the E 214th St. building in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx banging on their door with a hatchet and yelling while wearing a dress, video obtained by News 12 The Bronx shows.

In another creepy clip, the man, identified by police as Anthony Orozco, 28, can be seen near the stairwell without pants and shoes touching himself inappropriately. More footage shows him lurking in the halls with a knife and knocking on doors.

The man was filmed through a peephole hitting a neighbor’s door with a hatchet. News12 “Sometimes we are scared to go to the hallways…he be in the hallways, he bangs on people’s doors with poles,” one neighbor, Alexandra Reina, told the outlet.

The chaos came to a head in a potentially deadly situation on April 4 when the first-floor neighbor, “who was obviously high on some drug of some sort,” turned on all four stove burners in his apartment without lighting them, causing gas to fill up the apartment, management said.

“The fire department came out, cut off his gas, but he turned it back on after they told him not to turn it back on. Then he was walking around smoking a cigarette, like he was trying to blow us up,” Leonia, a next-door neighbor, recalled.

The entire building has now been forced to live without gas for more than a month.

“He’s the worst neighbor from hell that I’ve ever, ever ran across,” Zahara Cardwell said.

“He stands in the hallways, out of his mind, naked sometimes,” another unnamed neighbor said.

And the issues have continued, according to police.

On April 13, Orozco allegedly broke a camera on a front door of an apartment with a stick. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, cops said.

Then on April 29, he was swinging a metal rail at a 44-year-old female in front of her apartment, police said. He was arrested again and charged with menacing.

The Williamsbridge apartment building has been without gas for a month, neighbors said. Google St View He hasn’t paid rent since Jan. 2025. Management has filed a non-payment case with housing court, but more than a year later they are still waiting for the court to issue an eviction warrant.

“I just wish somebody would definitely hear us out, hear our cry. Help us, please help us,” another resident said.
