Royals vs. Guardians odds, prediction: Target Seth Lugo for Thursday’s MLB best bet

Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Seth Lugo gets the ball on Thursday afternoon. AP Stitches wears Prada, but he will wear his Royals jersey on Thursday.

K.C. hosts Cleveland. The Guardians’ Slade Cecconi picked up his first win in seven starts but still gave up five runs on 10 hits to the A’s.

Seth Lugo limited the Mariners to two runs over six innings in his last start.

We will play $50 on Lugo and the Royals (-133, Kalshi).

Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow was gone faster than a hairpiece in a hurricane. He left after giving up one run in one inning with “back soreness.”

But instead of taking advantage of the situation, the Astros put the “Closed. Went Fishing” sign on their dugout and lost 12-2.

Slade Cecconi has been uneven for the Guardians. Getty Images Lance McCullers Jr. allowed six runs in 2 ²/₃ innings. He was replaced by Jason Alexander. Different haircut. Same results.

“Costanza” coughed up another five runs in 4 ¹/₃ innings. Andy Pages smashed three home runs for the LaLa’s. Back-to-back losses. Still up +527 philniekros.

The one and only Stitches has been handicapping baseball, daily, for the Post since 2019. Miraculously, he has finished in the black twice. But wait there’s more. He showed his versatility by winning the Post’s NFL Best Bet crown last year.
