Knicks claw past Joel Embiid-less 76ers in tense Game 2 victory

Without Joel Embiid on Wednesday night, the 76ers put up more of a fight than they did with him in Game 1.

But that still wasn’t enough against these Knicks.

Despite trailing at halftime, the Knicks prevailed with a 108-102 win in Game 2.

Jalen Brunson celebrates hitting a 3-pointer during Game 2 against the 76ers on May 6, 2026. Charles Wenzelberg / New York Post Jalen Brunson (26 points) and OG Anunoby (24 points) led the way as New York took a 2-0 second-round series lead. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double.

The Knicks outscored the Sixers 19-12 in the final quarter to seal the win.

The teams will meet again on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in Philadelphia.
