Heart-stopping moment girl flees home after being allegedly kidnapped, stabbed by Maryland cabbie who entered US illegally under Biden

Make New York Post a Preferred Source Heart-stopping recently released surveillance video shows a teen girl fleeing her alleged kidnapper after being repeatedly stabbed by him – and it’s since emerged he entered the US illegally during the Biden administration and was arrested by the NYPD just months before the “heinous crime.”

The dramatic footage shows the unidentified girl, 15, running with “no shoes or clothes” on from the Baltimore basement being rented out by unlicensed cabbie Abubakarr Barrie, Fox45 reported, citing charging documents.

Sierra Leone native Barrie, 23, entered the US illegally in 2023 and was released into the community by the Biden administration after being arrested by Border Patrol, DHS said.

He allegedly kidnapped the girl and stabbed her “all over the body” on Oct. 22 in what feds have branded a “heinous crime” – some three months after New York officials refused to honor an ICE detainer after he was busted for possession of a forged instrument.

Despite sustaining injuries to her chest, ear, shoulder, back and ribs, the girl managed to escape the property – with her daring bid for freedom being captured on the homeowner’s surveillance cameras.

The girl fled from the basement at 8:52 p.m. – 43 minutes after arriving with Barrie.“I just see her bolt, like she just opens the door and runs,” the unidentified homeowner told Fox45, describing what he saw.

Cops came across the wounded girl around a mile from the home – and she told investigators that Barrie “immediately became violent” and put her in a headlock after advising him he was going in the wrong direction when she had instructed him to drive to a take-out.

They drove to the property where Barrie was renting a room before he “pushed her down a tiny set of steps leading into the home, led her into a tiny room and advised her to put her phone down and not to scream,” according to the documents.

They scuffled before Barrie “began stabbing [the girl] all over her body, so she said she began scratching and clawing” at her attacker, the documents added.

The minor found a fire extinguisher in the basement, bashing Barrie with it, before managing to escape the property.

Barrie was arrested on Oct. 24 and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and kidnapping – and an ICE detainer has since been lodged.

DHS noted he was arrested in New York City in July on charges of possession of a forged instrument.

But Big Apple “sanctuary politicians” refused to honor an ICE detainer that was issued, Homeland Security said.

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin has since blasted Biden and Big Apple officials.

“This tragedy would never have happened were it not for the multiple failures of sanctuary policies,” he said.“First, Biden’s open borders let this monster into our country, then sanctuary politicians in New York refused to hand him over to ICE and released him after a previous arrest three months before this horrific crime.

“DHS is urging Baltimore County authorities to learn from sanctuary New York’s mistakes, honor ICE’s detainer against this illegal alien, and prevent him from harming any more Americans.”
