Unsurprisingly, oddsmakers have quickly weighed in on what could be the boxing fight of the year.
Fury is a slight -188 favorite on the moneyline, while Joshua is a +150 underdog as of Wednesday at bet365 Sportsbook.
Fury is fresh off an impressive decision win over Arslanbek Makhmudov last month, coming out of retirement yet again and improving his record to 35-2-1 (24 KOs).
The former WBC heavyweight champion did not hold back, calling out Joshua a few moments after his latest victory.

“Tyson, you’re a clout chaser,” Joshua responded from the crowd. “When you’re ready, you come and see me. And you tell me your terms and conditions.”
“And I’ll have you in the ring when I’m ready. I’m the boss. You work for me. I’m the landlord. Remember that. I’m the landlord. You work for me.”

After years of negotiations and mutual respect, the bout fans have long awaited is finally happening, and it will stream on Netflix during the latter part of 2026.
Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) will first resume his career against Kristian Prenga, headlining a July 25 card that will serve as a tune-up ahead of the ‘Fight of Britain.’
The former unified heavyweight champion faced a personal tragedy outside the ring when he was injured and lost two of his closest friends in a horrific car accident in December 2025.
This came on the heels of his furious TKO beatdown of Jake Paul.
