Recently signed Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is stirring up speculation that Aaron Rodgers may be looking at playing for the Cardinals this upcoming season, with a post on social media he sent out on Tuesday.
Bourne tagged Rodgers in an X post, attempting to recruit the 42-year-old quarterback to bring his talents to Arizona.
“@AaronRodgers12 Come on we waiting on you,” he wrote on Tuesday morning.

Pittsburgh’s decision to use the UFA tag on Rodgers, which allows the team to receive a compensatory draft pick in 2027 if the quarterback signs elsewhere, seemed to be the launching pad for some of the speculation about the QB’s future with the Steelers.
And some have felt that the Cardinals could be a good landing spot if Rodgers decides to play, but doesn’t remain in the Steel City.

They also have a new head coach in Mike LaFleur and new offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, both of whom have ties to Rodgers.
The Steelers have publicly remained confident that Rodgers will return to the franchise to play in 2026, which former head coach Mike Tomlin recently predicted, as did owner Art Rooney II.
Nevertheless, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reported that the Steelers’ patience could be starting to wear thin with Rodgers.
Rodgers started 16 games for the Steelers last season and went 10-6 while throwing for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns, while completing 65.7 percent of his passes.
