JJ McCarthy and Katya Kuropas’ Cabo wedding was straight out of a fairytale.
The high school sweethearts tied the knot in front of 60 friends and family in an outdoor ceremony at the luxury Zadun Los Cabos Ritz-Carlton on April 11, as seen in exclusive photos from their wedding album obtained by The Post.
Kuropas’ Ukrainian heritage was thoughtfully woven throughout the celebration, adding a strong cultural layer to their special day, orchestrated by Amy Abbott Events.
The aisle was lined with white and pink roses leading to the alter in front of an oceanfront backdrop.
Kuropas, who wore a Mrs. McCathy robe to get ready, looked stunning in a white lace gown and Christian Louboutin stilettos. Her bridesmaids wore light pink gowns.
McCarthy, who will be starting his third year with the Vikings in September, was dapper in a beige suit and a printed tie. His groomsman donned matching suits with pink ties.
Inside the former Michigan quarterback’s suit was a collage of photos of he and Kuropas through the years, as well as a stitched leather patch with their wedding date.
The reception, which took place outside, featured floral canopies over tables that were topped with pink and white roses and candles — as well as outdoor bars and a swimming pool.
The dance floor was lit up with sparklers and string lights and included a fog machine.
The newlyweds, who announced the birth of their first child last September, also posed for photos together on the beach before they danced the night away.
McCarthy enjoyed cigars with his groomsman, as seen in other photos.
Kuropas and McCarthy, who began dating when they attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Ill., got engaged in January 2024.
He proposed just two weeks after he led Michigan to a national title in his final collegiate season.
