Married female high-school teacher molested student, now faces up to 25 years if convicted: cops

A married female high-school drama teacher molested an underage student and now faces up to 25 years behind bars if convicted, cops said.

Paulina Walden, 35, of Savannah, Ga., was nabbed Friday over her sick criminal behavior after cops received a tip-off from education officials a week earlier, police said.

Cops have not revealed any details about the alleged meet-ups between the teacher and child — only that they occurred off-campus.

Walden, an English teacher who also helped with the theater program at Jenkins High School, was cuffed and taken to a jail an hour after class was dismissed, WTOC reported.

She has been employed by the school district since 2023 and also teaches mythology and public speaking.

The suspect taught at Jenkins High in Savannah, Ga. WTOC The teacher, who has no criminal record and no previous ethics complaints on her record, was moved to a non-school location when Savannah-Chatham County school officials learned about the disturbing allegations.

“The district takes any accusation of inappropriate conduct by an employee very seriously,” officials said.

Walden’s hubby, who is also a teacher, had no comment when asked about the allegations, WTOC reported.

Walden is being held at the Chatham County Detention Center without bond.
