Bradley Cooper didn’t walk the Met Gala 2026 red carpet with girlfriend Gigi Hadid — but he did join her inside.
The actor made a surprise appearance inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night in a black suit.
The Oscar nominee, 51, showed up on the heels of Hadid calling him her “happy place” in a gushing Vogue interview.
When asked how she stays focused in front of cameras, the model told the outlet she summons “happy thoughts” while posing.
“The smile comes through the eyes and it makes you come to life,” Hadid continued, noting that she brings her and ex Zayn Malik‘s 5-year-old daughter, Khai, and her “man” to mind.
“When I think about Khai, maybe I’m giving joy,” the “Next in Fashion” co-host said. “And then I’ll serve something else to Bradley for the camera.”
Cooper has walked the Met Gala red carpet before, attending in 2018 with then-girlfriend Irina Shayk.

Three years prior, he made headlines for making out with the supermodel, 40, at an after-party.
Hadid, for her part, has been 10 times previously, with Monday marking her 11th appearance.
She stunned in a sheer Miu Miu gown with patchwork floral and flame embroidery for the evening’s “Costume Art” theme.
Hadid told Vogue, “We all sat in a hotel room two days ago, literally, and Scotch-taped the patches onto me in a way that felt celebratory. It’s built on the body. The body is the canvas.”

Khai would have loved the “collage moment,” she quipped.
The 31-year-old, notably, completed her “rock and roll” look with “satin Miu Miu undies.”
As for her beauty, Hadid channeled a “girl running out of a romantic, foggy, moonlit garden where she just had an amazing night with the love of her life.”
Hadid, notably, has been dating Cooper since 2023.
The “Silver Linings Playbook” star is also a father, sharing a 9-year-old daughter named Lea de Seine with Shayk.
While he and Hadid keep their romance primarily out of the spotlight, the latter did recently show her Instagram followers the massive bouquet Cooper bought for her birthday.
“My man tho,” she wrote in April, writing in a separate post that she is “every year luckier” and had a “dream bday brunch @ home and the sweetest week celebrating.”
