Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s nasty legal battle over their 2024 film “It Ends With Us” is finally over.
The pair settled their ugly two-year battle on Monday – just two weeks before the case was scheduled to go to trial and after a judge dropped 10 out of 13 of Lively’s claims in April.
On Feb. 11, Lively, 38, and Baldoni, 42, arrived at the US District Court in Manhattan for a final chance at resolving their legal battle ahead of their May trial.
The former co-stars showed up in bizarrely similar ensembles.
Lively, who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds, showed up solo, while Justin arrived with his wife, Emily Baldoni, walking hand in hand into the building.
Their closed-door hearing was overseen by US Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave and marked the first time the actors have faced off in court since their legal battle began in 2024.
Later that evening, Justin left the court holding hands with his wife. The actor smiled at photographers but kept silent when asked about the deal. Lively, meanwhile, left a few minutes later.
Deadline reported that Justin’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, said attempts to reach a pretrial deal on Feb. 11 were “unsuccessful.”
While Freedman acknowledged that “there’s always a chance” of still settling, he added that he didn’t “know that we will” resume talks.
On Feb. 12, Justin and his wife arrived for a second day in court after his “unsuccessful” court-ordered settlement conference with Lively, who was not present.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against the director, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the set of their film, “It Ends With Us.”
The “Jane the Virgin” alum denied Lively’s claims and, in January 2025, filed a $400 million suit against the “A Simple Favor” actress, her husband, 49, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.
However, Justin’s suit was dismissed in June 2025.

Last month, private text messages and emails were released as part of Lively’s unsealed deposition.
In one email, the mom of four begged ex Ben Affleck and his then-wife, Jennifer Lopez, to watch her cut of “It Ends With Us” amid her showdown with Justin.
Lively’s texts with her former pal Taylor Swift were also exposed. In the messages, the “Bad Blood” singer, 36, referred to Justin as a “bitch” who “knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin.”
Last summer, the “Five Feet Apart” director previously issued a subpoena to Swift to appear in court as a witness in the ongoing legal feud; however, the subpoena was dropped later that month.
Due to the drama affecting the pop star, she halted her friendship with Lively.
Page Six exclusively reported last October that the “Fortnight” singer has had “no contact” with Lively and they haven’t spoken since winter 2024.
