The Toronto Blue Jays arrive at Target Field today looking to complete a dominant series sweep against a struggling Minnesota Twins squad.
In two high-scoring performances over the past two days, the Jays have outscored the Twins 18–7.
The series kicked off on May 1 with a 7–3 Blue Jays victory, fueled by Kazuma Okamoto, who launched two home runs to support a win for veteran lefty Patrick Corbin. The momentum carried into the May 2 11-4 win, where the Blue Jays broke open a tight game with a staggering eight-run eighth inning.
Following today’s contest, the Blue Jays will head to Tampa for three games against the Rays, while the Twins have a day off before hitting the road for three against Washington.
The Blue Jays vs. Twins game is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET today, May 3.
This afternoon’s Blue Jays vs. Twins matchup is exclusive to the Peacock streaming service and not airing on traditional cable.
