A dire struggle over money ended violently when a gunman pumped bullets into a 31-year-old man in front of a Brooklyn home Monday morning, video shows.
Surveillance footage obtained by News 12 showed the gunman manhandling the victim as he shoved a firearm in his face and appeared to try to yank something out of his hand on a Borough Park sidewalk around 3:30 a.m.
The victim, appearing to hold money, resisted the robbery, leading the gunman to fire a warning shot into the front yard of a residence near Ninth Avenue and 58th Street, according to the clip that was also posted on social media.
The victim continued to wrestle with the gunman over the dough before the shooter fired rounds into the man and fled down the street.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and torso, according to police.
In the video, he could be seen lying on the sidewalk in a pool of blood as police waited for an ambulance. He was to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition, the NYPD said Friday.
The shooter has not been arrested as of Friday afternoon and the investigation is ongoing.
Police said it could not provide more information about what led up to the shooting.
