Vice-Premier He Lifeng presses US counterparts on restrictions as both sides pledge dialogue and steady economic ties

During the call, the Chinese and US sides “engaged in candid, in-depth, and constructive discussions” on “further properly addressing economic and trade issues of mutual concern and expanding practical cooperation”, a brief report stated.
China expressed “serious concern” on the call over the “economic and trade restrictions” recently imposed by the United States on China, CCTV report added.
The report also said that the two sides agreed to “continue to build consensus, manage differences, and strengthen cooperation to promote the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of China-US economic and trade relations”.
