More than a thousand rowdy teens swarmed a notorious Florida amusement park in a massive takeover that landed nine people in handcuffs and left two sheriff’s deputies injured, authorities said.

The Saturday night chaos at ICON Park in Orlando erupted around 7 p.m., when the unruly mob stormed the popular park, with several fights breaking out and the sheriff’s office moving in to try to quell the melees, Fox affiliate WRBW-TV News reported.

The two injured deputies were hurt while trying to subdue the violent teens.

The nation has seen a recent spike in raucous takeovers by massive mobs of youngsters, including at Washington DC’s Navy Yard and Tybee Island in Georgia earlier this month, during spring break in Brandon, Florida, and in downtown Chicago last month.

In February, as many as 200 teens stormed into the Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office did not release the names of the nine individuals arrested during Saturday’s incident at ICON Park.

In 2022, a 14-year-old boy was killed when he plunged 400 feet to the ground from the “Orlando Free-Fall” ride at the amusement park.
