Even for a bad comedian, timing is everything; Jimmy Kimmel proved that age-old axiom with his tasteless comment that First Lady Melania Trump has a “glow like an expectant widow” (“Trumps call to can this joker,” April 28).
I’m old enough to remember when late-night hosts were funny.
Kimmel, like the other also-ran Stephen Colbert, is a hack whose ratings bear out his marginal talent.
He made a tasteless joke that Melania has “the glow of an expectant widow.”
Has the first lady ever listened to her husband speak?
Does she think he spreads love when he refers to his enemies as low-life scum, traitors, wackos, vermin, garbage and more?
He has called for those who oppose him to be charged with treason and executed.
Apparently, Melania’s credo is that free speech is to be prohibited when her husband is the target.
If you let Kimmel get away with his rhetoric, then you are a coward.
When Kimmel jokes about the first lady having “a glow like an expectant widow,” that is disgusting.
All advertisers should take their products off ABC.
Kimmel is a classic representative of the dark left.
His comments make it abundantly clear that he represents the bottom-feeding, anti-culture of death and destruction.
They are blinded to the fact that they’re on the dark side of life and at war with the natural order.
You only need to look at the types of behaviors they advocate.
It’s time to take a stand against this garbage, or it will escalate.
If you need to explain your “joke” to the country, it wasn’t a joke.
It is very disappointing to see the corporate rot within Disney allow this vile person to continue to spew his hate thinly veiled as “humor.”
Why is the FCC still allowing ABC to air Jimmy Kimmel’s insane ramblings?
His obscene reference to First Lady Melania Trump as a widow-in-waiting is sick and warrants his immediate firing, as well as the imposition of severe sanctions against ABC.
You owe a big apology to the president and first lady for your stupid rant.
Kimmel has had his day in the sun, but is now abusing the privilege of being on the air.
I really think Jimmy Kimmel finally jumped the shark with his horrible remarks about Melania Trump.
Even if you dislike her husband, at the end of the day, she’s still a beautiful lady with a youthful son. Horrible job by Kimmel.
Along with all the other disgusting late-night hosts who spew vile rhetoric against our president, he should stop and think of all the hatred and damage they are doing to this country.
The far-left members of Congress who do the very same thing should also evaluate themselves and leave their posts if they can’t stand with their president. Shame on all of them.
Kimmel is the embodiment of someone deeply afflicted by TDS.
When Trump won the election, Kimmel openly wept on his show.
This started a near-nightly monologue of Trump-bashing rhetoric.
His so-called late-night show is nothing more than a constant barrage of inflammatory Trump satire.
His “expectant widow” comment directed at the first lady was morally offensive, and any decent person should agree that an expectant firing should ensue.
