Lawrence Taylor is dealing with pancreatitis, according to TMZ.
The NFL legend has been hospitalized since last week, but his health is moving in the right direction.
“Lawrence is getting better every day and is looking forward to getting back on his feet,” Taylor’s agent, Mark Lepselter, told the outlet.

Getty Images for SiriusXM When reached by The Post, Taylor’s attorney Mark Eiglarsh referred to a statement previously provided on Monday in which he said Taylor, 67, has been hospitalized since April 20 with a stomach-related issue.
“At this time, the condition does not appear to be life-threatening,” Eiglarsh said. “He remains under medical observation and is showing signs of improvement. His discharge date has not yet been determined.”
The former Giants star had suffered a medical emergency and was taken to a New Jersey area hospital, TMZ previously reported.
At the time, sources told TMZ that they don’t believe “whatever he’s dealing with is too serious” and that he would be released from the hospital soon.

AP Taylor, who played his entire NFL career with the Giants, winning two Super Bowls and the 1986 MVP, has dealt with a number of health issues since his playing days, and has also been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction.
During his career, Taylor, the No. 2 overall pick in the 1981 NFL Draft, won Defensive Player of the Year three times, Defensive Rookie of the Year, and made 10 All-Pro teams and Pro Bowls.
Earlier this month, Taylor was spotted alongside Bill Belichick — his former defensive coordinator with the Giants — at the University of North Carolina.
In March, he participated in the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational.
