Hunter Biden heads west. Malibu has become a hotbed for Democratic party refugees, it seems.
After Page Six Hollywood exclusively reported that former Veep Kamala Harris bought a home in the area, and that disgraced former California Rep. Eric Swalwell has been spotted frequenting a local café — there’s now buzz that onetime Malibu resident Hunter Biden is back to spending time in the fabled beach enclave.

Getty Images That at least was the buzz at a recent screening of the documentary, “In Search of Love,” directed by Scott Steindorff, a longtime Malibu resident and founder of Stone Village Films. More than 50 people — almost all longtime residents of the seaside area — poured into Aviator Nation Dreamland along Pacific Coast Highway on Sunday evening for an intimate screening and conversation about the documentary which centers on love.
Biden — the controversial son of former Democratic President Joe Biden — was recently allegedly spotted at Coachella, and there’s now buzz that the former first son is living again in Malibu. Hunter’s former home, a rental in Malibu, had been damaged during the California wildfires last year, and remains “unlivable,” sources previously told The Post.
The sightings come after Biden’s high profile lawyer alleged in an April legal filing that Biden had left the country. “Mr. Biden lives abroad,” the April legal document stated. “He cannot pay his current lawyers.”
(When we asked the attorney, Barry Coburn, if Biden was back in Malibu, he said no comment. Hunter — who’s in debt for his past criminal cases — has publicly said he splits his time between the States and South Africa.)

His wife Melissa Cohen is from South Africa, but Biden was allegedly actually holed up at luxury 8,000-acre estate in Santa Ynez, two hours north of Los Angeles, sources claimed to The Post.
“He’s been telling everyone that he is living in South Africa because he has no money, but it’s a ruse, to show that he is broke and can’t pay his bills,” said a source close to the Biden family.
