How many times must Trump be targeted before the left quits radicalizing people?

For the third time, an assassin Saturday night came far too close to killing President Donald Trump.

And in what’s starting to seem like a pattern, the suspect was clearly a radicalized lefty.

Thank God, no one was seriously injured this time. But is this what the left wants?

Because sane, democracy-loving Americans are beginning to wonder: What will it take to get lefty pols and media to quit their sick, dangerous accusations about Trump, which are surely fueling the hostility and deadly violence?

“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” ranted suspected would-be assassin Cole Allen in his manifesto — with its clear reference to Trump.

Where did Allen get such ideas about Trump and the need to remove him, via murder? Almost certainly from the left, including from Democrats in positions of power.

Barely a day goes by without some Dem calling Trump an autocrat, a king, a dictator, Hitler. They claim he’s ended democracy in America.

They cheer the “No Kings” rallies, as if Trump actually had royal power.

Notably, Allen attended a No Kings protest in California, according to his social-media accounts.

Dems have also repeatedly linked Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, despite the lack of evidence.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) endlessly promotes the charge that the president raped kids, again with no evidence whatsoever.

They’ve also portrayed ICE agents as Nazi brownshirts under Trump’s command.

And lefties not only slam Trump; they romanticize violence.

A recent New York Times podcast featured radicals like Hasan Piker who seem to advocate murder — for the greater good, don’t you know?

Radicals praise Luigi Mangione, who’s accused of killing Brian Thompson, simply because Thompson was UnitedHealthcare’s CEO.

Notably, Allen’s manifesto makes him sound like a Mangione-wannabe. Will the left now turn him into a hero?

Please: How does murder square with democracy and law and order?

True, the killers are generally mentally ill, as Allen seems to be based on his own words.

But sick individuals who hear outrageous charges from people considered authorities (congressmen, governors, etc.) are apt to act on what they hear, imagining — as Mangione and Allen seemed to — they’re doing the nation a service by taking up arms.

Tyler Robinson was so disturbed over what he believed was hateful rhetoric from Charlie Kirk that he saw fit to fatally shoot him.

Nick Roske sought to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh, fearing the Supreme Court would overturn Roe v. Wade.

In Dallas, a gunman opened fire on an ICE facility, killing a detainee — and radicals have targeted numerous other ICE agents in violent attacks.

Unable to live with the results of two elections, Democrats have been resorting to extraordinary steps ever since Trump first won in 2016 — launching smear campaigns like the Russia hoax, impeaching him twice, slapping him with bogus civil and even criminal charges, moving to toss his name from the ballot.

And of course portraying him as a dire threat to the nation.

These steps go well beyond the bounds of legitimate democratic politics (which they claim they champion).

And now Trump has been targeted for assassination three times.

For the sake of the country, it’s long past time for them to knock off the inflammatory rhetoric.
