What Jets and Giants might do on Day 3 of 2026 NFL Draft

The Post’s Brian Costello and Paul Schwartz look at what the Jets and Giants could do on the third day — Rounds 4-7 — of the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday.

The Jets have five picks on Saturday — three in the fourth round (Nos. 103, 128, 140) and two in the seventh round (No. 228, 242).

These picks will mostly be about depth and drafting for the future, but there are a few positions to watch.

LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier, Arkansas’ Taylen Green and North Dakota State’s Cole Payton are all still on the board.

The Jets also may want to draft a kicker with one of those seventh-round picks.

Florida’s Trey Smack and MIchiigan’s Dominic Zvada are the top kickers in the Draft.

The trade-up late Friday night leaves the Giants with only three picks on Day 3: All in the sixth round.

They will have to sit out the fourth and fifth rounds before they are on the clock at pick No. 186.

They could use a defensive tackle and that could be a position for them to target on Saturday.

They also could use another cornerback or safety for depth purposes.

Given John Harbaugh’s background, finding players in the sixth round with special teams qualities makes sense.
