Mayor Zohran Mamdani is expected to meet King Charles III when the royal takes a trip across the pond next week, according to a report.
The democratic socialist and the British monarch will attend a wreath-laying at the 9/11 memorial in downtown Manhattan on Wednesday, two people familiar with the planning told Politico.
Other government bigwigs, including former mayor Michael Bloomberg, will also be on hand for the event, the outlet reported.
The meet-up is part of King Charles’ visit to the US next week, which also includes a state dinner at the White House, a source previously told The Post.
The mayor’s office did not immediately return an email seeking comment.
