Ethan Hawke discusses daughter Maya’s wedding for first time in emotional interview

Maya Hawke’s Valentine’s Day wedding was a “very powerful” experience for her dad, Ethan Hawke.

The “Landman” actor reflected on the milestone moment for the first time while chatting exclusively with Page Six at Thursday’s Time 100 Gala 2026.

“It would be very difficult not to [get emotional],” the Oscar nominee, 55, told us of walking the 27-year-old down the aisle in February.

“Whenever you see your children so happy, it’s probably the most moving thing you could see,” Ethan noted.

He gushed over the joy of watching his offspring “loving their life and embracing their life and finding wonderful friends and partners.”

The “Boyhood” star and Maya’s mom, Uma Thurman, are also the parents of son Levon, 24.

Additionally, Ethan shares daughters Clementine, 17, and Indiana, 14, with Ryan Hawke.

In February, he was photographed escorting his eldest child into New York City’s St. George’s Episcopal Church ahead of her wedding ceremony to husband Christian Lee Hutson.

Ethan, who suited up for the occasion, was all smiles as he clutched the bride’s bouquet.

Thurman, 55, was also spotted outside the church in a floral blue dress, as well as Maya’s “Stranger Things” co-stars.

The actress gushed about her marriage to Page Six the following month.

“Love is the best,” the “happy” singer told us in March. “I feel so lucky to have found my best friend and to have someone I can tell anything to.”

She continued, “It makes something like getting married feel like, ‘Oh, of course.’ … I’m very, very, very lucky, so I’m really happy.”

Maya and Hutson, 35, were friends for years before their relationship took a romantic turn.

The duo debuted their romance with 2023 PDA, sparking engagement speculation two years later.
