Muzahid Millad, 22 – better known as Advance Gaming – died on Wednesday after the suspect’s car reportedly veered into the opposite lane on the Maju Expressway, colliding with the e-hailing vehicle in which the content creator and his wife were travelling.

Police said a 31-year-old Malaysian soldier had been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing the fatal crash.

“The results of the breathalyser test on the driver of the Ford Fiesta showed that the reading exceeded the permitted limit,” Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said in a statement, adding that CCTV footage was being sought as part of the investigation.

A wave of mourning swept across Bangladesh’s online gaming community, sparking demands for answers regarding the popular YouTuber’s death.
