Eric Swalwell’s wife breaks cover at luxe Mexican resort town where billionaire Dem donor owns a villa

Eric Swalwell’s wife and family has been spotted at Mexico Los Cabos International Airport after enjoying a week-long luxury escape at a resort dubbed ”a billionaire’s playground.”

Swalwell, 45, who was not with his family, quit both congress and the race for California governor over allegations of sexual misconduct, including rape, were made by five women. He denies all allegations against made against him.

A Post source spotted Brittany Watts and her three children Nelson, Cricket and Hank spending time at the hyper exclusive El Dorado Beach Club – the members only club where Swalwell’s estranged billionaire backer Stephen Cloobeck has a $45 million villa.

The club is a members-only community with invites only obtained through the invitation of the owner or through an exclusive broker, starting at $10,000 a night.

Watts is no stranger to exclusive accommodation, having previously worked as director of sales at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon, California. She also worked as the director of corporate and leisure travel sales for the Loews Chicago Hotel and is now a small-business owner in the hospitality industry,

The El Dorado Beach villas are fully staffed with private chefs, housekeeping and concierge services, along with access to the club’s beach and golf facilities.

Cloobeck did not return the Post’s calls or texts confirming whether Eric was staying at his villa, but has talked frequently about his home in Cabo.

Meanwhile Swalwell’s wife of nine years, Brittany, looked stressed as she was seen unloading a white SUV packed with suitcases ahead of the family’s flight back to their Washington, D.C. home.

The couple’s three children stood nearby with their luggage and backpacks.

Brittany played a huge role in Swalwell’s now failed campaign, including on a prominent social media reel, where she does a soft-ball interview as the couple walk along the beach at Santa Monica.

At one one point she says she’s ”scared” for the people of California.

Swalwell also frequently posted social media pictures of his children.

Meanwhile, timeshare billionaire Cloobeck spectacularly pulled his support for Swalwell after the allegetions emerged, booting him from the $26 million Beverly Hills mansion, and demanding he return the $1 million he donated to his campaign.

“I am no longer supporting Eric,” Cloobeck told The Post in an exclusive interview. “F—ing tell everyone I’m a libertarian. F— you, Democrat Party. I’m a libertarian now.”

Cloobeck, 64, the founder and former CEO of Diamond Resorts International, briefly ran for California governor as a Democrat himself before dropping out this past November and endorsing Swalwell, citing the then-congressman’s “integrity, focus, and willingness.”

The fallout from Swalwell exiting the campaign took center stage on political fallout took center stage Wednesday as California gubernatorial candidates met for their first televised debate since his abrupt exit on April 12th. He resigned from Congress two days later.

The embattled congressman is facing a wave of allegations, including a claim from a former staffer who says she was raped while intoxicated at an April 2024 charity gala.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has launched a criminal probe into the accusation. Swalwell has denied allegations of rape and sexual assault.

Additional claims from three other women allege misconduct ranging from inappropriate messages to unwanted physical contact, with the women saying they have supporting documentation such as hospital visits and contemporaneous messages.

Another former staffer has alleged that after a night of heavy drinking in 2019, she woke up naked next to Swalwell in a hotel room and believed sexual activity had occurred, though she does not remember the events. Swalwell denies the allegations.

Swalwell has admitted to unspecified “indiscretions” and has apologized to his wife for his behavior several times.

The controversy has also drawn reaction from President Donald Trump, who told reporters, “he’s a sleazebag. Always has been,” adding, “I don’t know anything about the charges, but he’s a bad guy.”
