To celebrate the release of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” in theaters on May 22, Burger King is launching a new, limited-time menu.
Participating U.S. restaurants will offer the out-of-this-galaxy menu lineup starting May 4 — because May the Fourth be with you — and will also come with fun “Star Wars” packaging and other offerings.
“From themed packaging to bold, flavor-forward menu items, this is our way of celebrating an iconic new film with the iconic flame-grilled taste only Burger King can deliver,” Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King U.S. & Canada, said in a statement.
“‘Star Wars’ has shaped generations of fans, and as we head into the release of ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu,’ we saw an opportunity to bring that excitement straight into our restaurants,” Yashinsky said.
There will also be four exclusive, collectible cups that fans can unlock by purchasing a BBQ Bounty Whopper Combo, a 12-piece Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fry Combo, or a Bounty Bundle, which is a special box including all four menu items.
Kids will also have the chance to join in on the “Star Wars” fun. The Mandalorian and Grogu King Jr. meal will arrive at participating restaurants nationwide starting April 28.
The Jr. Meal features your choice of a hamburger of four-piece nugget, apple sauce, kids’ fries, a choice of milk or apple juice, and a Mandalorian-themed toy, while supplies last.
“Star Wars has always been about bringing generations of fans together. The Burger King ‘Have It Your Way’ spirit makes them the perfect brand to help fans celebrate the upcoming theatrical release of ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ because it’s rooted in bringing people together through shared, memorable experiences,” Jan Coleman, Vice President of Partnerships and Promotions at The Walt Disney Studios, said in a statement.
“Together, we’re giving fans and families a fun and delicious way to connect with the excitement of the galaxy.”
Fans on social media are ecstatic to get their hands on the new menu.
