On To Lam’s state visit, Chinese president also urges keeping ‘supply chains stable and unimpeded’ as Iran war deepens global energy crisis

Xi’s remarks came during To Lam’s four-day state visit, aimed at improving Sino-Vietnamese ties as both countries seek to ensure energy security and navigate tariff pressure from the United States.
Lam is the latest in a series of world leaders to travel to China this week, arriving after Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid visits.
The high-level meetings highlight greater international engagement with Beijing amid mounting geopolitical volatility.
