It came as no surprise that John Harbaugh arrived as the Giants head coach, took a look at the state of the special teams, and the result was wholesale changes.
There is a new punter (Jordan Stout, who was with Harbaugh in Baltimore), a new place kicker (Jason Sanders, who will compete with Ben Sauls for the job) and a new long snapper (Zach Triner).
Gunner Olszewski was re-signed and he could again handle the punt return duties. Does anyone expect the Giants to use one of their seven picks on a kicker? No.

Icon Sportswire via Getty Images But if anyone would go in that direction, it might be Harbaugh, a former special teams coordinator who, for more than a decade, had the great Justin Tucker to rely on game after game.
So, if Harbaugh falls in love with Dominic Zvada (Michigan), Trey Smack (Florida), Drew Stevens (Iowa) or Will Ferrin (BYU), who knows?
Harbaugh might also try to prioritize players with special teams value in the sixth round.
