A 15-year-old boy slashed another teen in the face in a burst of violence inside their Bronx high school on Monday, police said.

The teen cut the victim, also 15, around 12:50 p.m. inside William H. Taft High School on East 172nd Street near Sheridan Avenue in Mount Eden, authorities said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

The young attacker was taken into custody at the scene and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, authorities said.

The 15-year-old boy allegedly slashed his classmate around 12:50 p.m. Monday inside William H. Taft High School in Mount Eden, authorities said. It remained unclear Tuesday what sparked the violence.

The attack came just over a month after an 11-year-old girl stabbed a 12-year-old boy inside their Bronx middle school March 2, police said.

In that case, the girl allegedly knifed the boy in the left arm inside IS 218 in the Concourse neighborhood over a “past incident” that boiled over, authorities and sources said.

The young girl was taken into custody, the sources said.
