How to watch ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ for free: Release date, cast

Another star-studded series is joining Apple TV’s ranks.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel of the same name premieres tomorrow, April 15, with three episodes.

Elle Fanning leads the series as Margo, a recent college dropout and aspiring writer whose life is flipped upside down when she has a baby following an affair with a former professor. In order to stay afloat, pay the bills and support her new child, Margo turns to OnlyFans.

Apple TV Apple TV’s official logline for the series reads, “‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.”

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” premieres with three episodes on Wednesday, April 15. New episodes will drop on Apple TV every Friday through May 20.

Apple TV has not confirmed a release time, but the streamer will often release new episodes of original series the night before their listed premiere date. In the case of “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” you’ll likely be able to watch new episodes as early as 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday nights.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is exclusive to Apple TV, so you’ll need a subscription to watch the new series.

Apple TV offers a seven-day free trial for users, so you’ll be able to watch a few episodes (depending on when you subscribe) before the $12.99/month payments kick in.

Amazon Prime members can also subscribe to Apple TV directly through Prime Video. It costs the same $12.99/month price and also includes a seven-day free trial.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” on Apple TV will have eight episodes; check out the official Wednesday release dates for every episode below, but remember, they may be available to stream around 9:00 p.m. ET the night before the listed date.

Elle Fanning stars as the titular Margo in “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.” Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman star as Margo’s parents, while Nicole Kidman plays a mediator between Margo and her professor.

Greg Kinnear, Thaddea Graham, Michael Angarano, Marcia Gay Harden, Lindsey Normington, Rico Nasty, Michael Workéyè, Chris Jericho and Annalise Basso will also appear in the series.
