New York Post Composite I didn’t plan on becoming emotionally attached to a face cream, but here we are.
On a trip to Myeongdong a few months ago (aka skincare paradise), I was doing what everyone does: wandering into every glowing beauty store and telling myself I was “just looking.” That lasted about five minutes, because I spotted the Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Cream sitting there, and suddenly it felt irresponsible not to buy it.
I’d heard whispers about this cream before, with notes that it’s hydrating, soothing and great for sensitive skin. However, with a million and one skincare products under my belt, I didn’t expect to become the kind of person who actually finishes a jar. And yet, I did. Fully.
The texture is literally the crème de la crème. It’s rich enough to feel like you’re doing something luxurious for your skin, but it sinks in fast and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or sticky. Basically, it’s the moisturizer equivalent of finding a pair of jeans that somehow fit perfectly on the first try.
Of course, finishing the jar sent me right back into shopping mode while I was still in Seoul. I figured I couldn’t leave without trying its sister product, the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen (also on sale!) — because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that K-beauty and me mix well together. I mean, obviously.
Now that I’m home, I’m fully aware that I may never again stumble upon such a K-beauty playground like the one I experienced on the other side of the world. But Amazon is the next best thing, especially with this 40%-off deal.
Formulated with niacinamide and collagen, this new-to-me sheet mask is gentle on sensitive skin and not heavy in the slightest.
Sensitive skin + excess oil = this cleanser for the win. After testing all of Anua, trust me on this one.
Formulated with capsules of vitamin C that burst onto your skin in the most brightening way, these toner pads are next-level. Plus, I’m obsessed with all things medicube.
