In the midst of that youth movement, with all eyes focused on the Nets’ haul of first-round rookies, they could be overlooking the best player of the lot: Josh Minott.

The Nets’ lack of a young star to build around is why they’ve tanked their way into top-three odds in the draft lottery. Eight players — nearly half the roster — are 23 or younger, and more than one league onlooker told The Post that Minott right now is the best of the bunch.

“I think he’s the best young prospect on the Nets,” one league source said. “He’s probably better than any of their first-round picks, and he’s damn near the same age.”
