What Jets might do at cornerback in 2026 NFL Draft

We’re going to learn how the Jets feel about Azareye’h Thomas here.

They took Thomas in the third round last year and he started five games. He played well enough but he did not take the ball away, something the Jets are stressing after having zero interceptions as a team last year.

They signed Nahshon Wright in free agency and he should push Thomas for the starting job opposite Brandon Stephens.

South Carolina’s Brandon Cisse is an intriguing prospect if he is still sitting there in the second round.

Cornerbacks make good special teams players, too, so Darren Mougey could draft one on Day 3 with a role on special teams in mind.
