Long before Kristi Noem’s husband Bryon was exposed as a cross-dresser with a penchant for wearing oversized fake boobs, he was responsible for most of the wifely duties in their home, the former South Dakota governor once wrote.
“At our house, Bryon completes many of our chores. I am gone a lot, and he is left to handle all things related to kids, ranch, and house,” she wrote in a 2019 column published on the Governor’s Office web site.
Bryon Noem was responsible for all of the chores in his home, his wife said. “I know that I am blessed to have a husband who recognizes how wonderful it is for me to come back to a clean house and tended family.”
The article, entitled “Husband, Father, Servant,” detailed the dynamic between the couple while she served as governor of South Dakota.
“Bryon loves the Lord and understands the responsibility that God gives to men to lead their families. As the years went by and the kids were born, his actions revealed to me how he viewed fatherhood. He served,” she wrote.
Kristi Noem, 54, who was elected in 2019, painted her husband as a devoted father who loved taking care of his three children so much, he left little room for others to pitch in.
“He gave Kassidy her first bath. In fact, my mom came to stay with us a few days after she was born and after a few hours she came to me and said, ‘I might as well go home. Bryon won’t let me do anything,'” Noem wrote.
Any image of Bryon Noem, 56, as a wholesome family man was obliterated after pictures of him clad in hot pants with giant balloons serving as breasts under his shirt became public.
He allegedly paid online fetish models $25,000 as part of his fixation with a “bimboification” lifestyle, in which devotees transform themselves into hyperfeminine, Barbie-like versions of themselves.

OnlyFans model Nicole Raccagno, 47, claimed to The Daily Mail that Bryon was paying her as much as $1,500 a month during their online relationship and regularly professed his love to her.
“I seem to be falling in love with you. I do love you,” the father-of-three allegedly wrote in a March 10 message to the adult model, according to the outlet.
He even allegedly begged her to marry him and offered to pay to get her 38N breasts further surgically enlarged.
“I f—ing want to pay it. Because you’re the one that I love. I would love to marry you,” he allegedly said.
Kristi Noem left the governor’s mansion to serve as US Homeland Security Secretary last year. She and Bryon were married in 1992.
Bryon Noem declined to comment to The Post, Gov. Noem did not respond to The Post’s request to comment.
