Mayor Rudy Giuliani forbade anyone in his administration from consorting with convicted felons. Yet, he was a frequent guest of twice-convicted felon George Steinbrenner at Yankees games.

On the other side of the political aisle there were the ACLU lawyers who demanded the end to racial and ethnic profiling, real or suspected. Yet, if given the chance to board a trans-Atlantic flight with their families, would they choose the “Absolutely No Profiling” flight or the “Profiling” flight?

In this age of raging self-entitlement, there’s no shortage of those who, excuse the indelicacy, make us want to puke.
